The subject matter of contributed papers should be relevant to the Interface Conference, meaning that it should be related to the interface of Statistics and computing.

The body of your abstract is limited to 1200 characters or so (about 200 words). The abstract should state concisely the methods and results of your paper. Please use "hard" carriage returns so that the lines are at most 50 or 60 characters long. Do not paste a long word processor document directly into the form without making sure that the line breaks are indeed there.

You are urged to avoid mathematical notation whenever possible, given the difficulty of rendering it in HTML. If you feel you must use math symbols, use plain TeX or LaTeX math notation (no custom macros). Avoid double-level superscripts and subscripts (e.g., a subscript on a superscript) and displayed equations. Titles must contain no accent marks or mathematical symbols, and should be limited to about 180 characters in length.
