The two external evaluators are
Dr. Rich Wyllie was the president, and is currently the treasurer of the Illinois Council of Teachers of Mathematics (ICTM) and a distinguished mathematics educator as well as being actively involved in improving mathematics teachers' skills.
Mrs. Chris Perkovich was a previous participant in Measuring Up 2000 as a fifth grade teacher and she has a maters degree. She is currently involved with teaching preservice college students their mathematical course at Northern Illinois University.
