Book Sale!
Math club will sell books outside Watson 320 (the math office) for cheap (typically $1-$4 per book). Offerings include old textbooks for Algebra and Geometry, as well as some higher math selections. This is a great time to find an inexpensive reference for that old math class that you just don't remember everything from.
Math club will sell worked finals from selected 100 and 200 level classes. Answers will be given in detail and double checked many times by upper level math students and faculty.
2. Fermilab Fieldtrip: We will be going to Fermilab to attend a
lecture
titled "Folding in Arts and Space: Origami in Art, Science and
Technology". The date of the trip is Friday Oct. 7. We meet in front
of Watson 320 at 6:45 PM for departure. We will organize a car pool (or
rent a van if enough people sign up.) People who volunteer their
vehicles for the car pool will have some reimbursement (based on
the number of people they give a ride to.) For the
field trip, sign up in Math Office, Watson 320 by Monday, Oct. 3, or come to the
Math Club meeting on Monday Oct 3 at 7:30 PM in DU 326,

1. Panel of Former Student Teachers: This is open to all NIU
students.
It will be held Monday, Oct. 3 from 4:00-- 5:50PM in
DuSable 300.
