Here are the alternatives to taking the final on Friday:

NOTE: ALL CONDITIONS CONCERNING THE TIMES AND DATES ARE VALID IF AND ONLY IF THE UNIVERSITY IS OPEN.

  1. You may take the grade that you have now as your final grade. If you are unsure of your grade email me.
  2. You may take the final on Tuesday anytime between 10 AM and 4 PM, however, the exam must be completed before the university offices close at 4:30 PM.

    You may also take the exam on Weds.: only one person has expressed interest in that day. So Weds appointments should be scheduled in a response to this. I would prefer Weds afternoon times.

    Thurs appts will be very difficult for me.

    COMMENT: I cannot promise that we will have the luxury of a proper classroom for the exam.

  3. You may take the exam on Friday.
  4. You may take an incomplete if this experience has made it too difficult for you. I do not encourage this, and I believe that it would not be in your best interest.

WHAT YOU SHOULD DO IN RESPONSE TO THIS MESSAGE

  1. If you wish to take the final on Tues between 10 and 4, just show up at my office, 334 Watson Hall. I will either be there or there will be instructions on where to go.
  2. If you wish to take the exam at a different alternative time, email me at buck@math.niu.edu with subject MATH 206 - DIFFERENT TIME
  3. If You wish to take the grade you have so far as your final grade, email me at buck@math.niu.edu with subject MATH 206 - SKIP FINAL
  4. If you wish to inquire about your grade, email me at buck@math.niu.edu with subject MATH 206 - PRESENT GRADE
  5. If you choose an incomplete, email me at buck@math.niu.edu with subject MATH 206 - INCOMPLETE

Remember send any decisions concerning SKIP FINAL or INCOMPLETE to my university address
