         Northern Illinois University is pleased to offer a summer

                         M A T H   C A M P  

         for interested high school students. This is a one-week camp 
         designed to offer enthusiastic students an exposure to some 
         of the many new and exciting branches of today's mathematics.

         Camp will be held  July 16-21, 2000  on the NIU campus
         (about 60 miles west of Chicago). Activities will include
         workshops, problem sessions, games and competitions,
         movies, and a trip to a national laboratory facility.

         Activities will be directed by NIU and visiting faculty
         and graduate students. The camp Director is
