A subgroup B of linear algebraic group G (or of a Lie group) is a Borel
subgroup if it is a closed, connected, solvable, maximal subgroup. It
has several nice properties: B is conjugate to every other Borel
subgroup and B is a B Borel subgroup iff B solvable and G/B is a
projective variety.
