I must say I don't really believe one can consistently work out the mastermind combination in 5 moves, but I think that's just because my own mind doesn't work that way! I run a website with a number of games. Next week we'll be launching a version of Mastermind called Park-a-Palooza. It's been a lot of fun to play, but I think my liberal arts education hasn't served me well here, as my best score has been SIX. But I chalk that up to blind luck :( I'm writing to ask if you'd consider linking to some of our games. As I said, the mastermind-type game will launch in a few weeks, but one that's pretty fun too is our game called Match-the-Blocks. It's similar to a variant of MahJong. I haven't figured out a strategy (due to my Liberal Arts background?) but I'm amazed at some of the scores our players are getting on this game. In fact, I'm convinced they're cheating some how, as that's the only way I can explain my own poor score :) In any case, if you find the game interesting, please consider linking to Match-Blocks: http://www.chevroncars.com/wocc/play/inst.jhtml;?MediaId=MatchtheBlocks or to our general games page at: http://www.chevroncars.com/wocc/play I look forward to hearing your thoughts on strategy for this game.
