TETRIS - ANALYSIS AND SIMULATIONS

The classic game of falling pieces which are to be placed 'efficiently'. I got pretty good at a PC version, but (of course) grew frustrated that the game ran too fast. I was sure I could keep the game up almost indefinitely, if it were just a question of brainpower (not coordination). So...I taught the computer everything I knew how to do and let it play all by itself!

The PC version I played was called 'NYET' (something to do with copyrights, I think), so I started calling my version 'DA'. This ran on my home PC in 1990. I guess it would run a little faster now :-)

I actually assigned this as a project in my Math modelling class! (Some of us are shameless)
